About Mark

Mark started his real estate career in the northern suburbs of London back in March 1984 and has had the opportunity of working in a number of different countries in a range of roles and positions over the last 35 years.

Mark has achieved recognition as a top salesperson, business owner, trainer/coach and Auctioneer having conducted over 7,000 auctions in his career.

Beginnings

Mark sold his very successful real estate business after 11 years and in 2006 started Real Estate Menu (REM) which saw him work with most major brands in every state and territory around Australia, throughout New Zealand and over in Indonesia.

From 2012-2019 Mark worked with 2 major independent brands and from Feb 2019 started back on his own with REM doing what he loves to do – train, coach, mentor offices and salespeople and continue to auction properties throughout SE Qld as he has done since June 1992.

Market Knowledge

Working in so many market places throughout the country has given Mark an understanding and appreciation of every different market from suburban homes to inner-city mansions making his work relevant and specific to that particular market.

Broad Experience

Mark has been surrounded with success since joining the No.1 Brisbane office at Ray White Paddington back in 1989 and the time there taught him what it took to succeed in real estate in any market in any conditions – a trait he has used over the past 30 years.

  • Auctions & Training

    From these early days the Auction method of sales become a critical part of Mark’s future both as a salesperson personally managing hundreds of Auction Programs to once of Brisbane’s most well-respected Auctioneer’s with over 7,500 calls to his name.

  • Business Ownership

    Mark took over the Ray White Nundah franchise in April 1995 and over the next 11 years took the office from a staff of 5 to over 22 with over 500% increase in sales and a Property Management of in excess of 400 by the time he sold the business in April 2006. Mark was recognised for his work with a number of awards including the prestigious Max White Award in 2002 presented to the business owner who the White family and board of directors felt had contributed to the group more than any other person for the year.

  • Corporate

    Over the years Mark has held significant Corporate roles in both Australia and New Zealand. He worked with the Ray White Queensland Corporate office in the early to mid-1990’s and was the first Ray White person to work with what was then the United Realty group throughout New Zealand.

    From 2012-2016 Mark worked with major independent Brand – Belle Property as their Qld Franchise Manager growing the brand from 10 offices to 22 in 4 years and from Feb 2016-Feb 2019 Place Estate Agents as their Head of Growth - (Mark is still one of only 2 contracted trainers for Place Estate Agents – the other is Josh Phegan!). Mark still continues to work with the Place Brand to this day.

  • Since the beginning of 2019, Mark is now back doing what he loves to do, working hands on with Leaders, Offices and Salespeople in all aspects of training, coaching and auctioneering.
